For over 80 years, our soil sampling augers have remained the preferred choice for collecting disturbed soil samples and facilitating manual borehole creation. We think it’s important to emphasize that our first bucket auger was built in 1942 for the United States Soil Conservation Service. 
Soil sampling augers are a must-have for anyone working with soil, such as field technicians and soil scientists. You can use soil augers for soil sampling, as you can collect intact soil cores for in situ testing or lab analysis. Additionally, we provide the capabilities to pre-auger boreholes to greater depths where samples can be obtained using a separate soil sampler or soil core sampler.
