24" Basic Hay & Forage Probe

Get accurate and reliable core samples with our Hay & Forage Probes. These probes are designed to obtain 12" or 24" representative samples for quick visual inspection and laboratory analysis. With a 7/8" outer dimension heat-treated serrated tip and chamfered extraction slot, our probes ensure precise and consistent results. To achieve the best outcome, make sure to use the Hay Core Probe Plunger after each core has been taken to avoid unnecessary compaction.

Core samples from Basic Hay & Forage Probes can be emptied into a bucket or sample bag. Deluxe Hay & Forage Probe core samples are retrieved in the included plastic liner that can hold roughly 20 samples. The liner can be removed by unscrewing the Hay Probe Top Cap with the built in 1/2" drill adapter.

Probe bodies are constructed of chromoly featuring a gold-zinc plating. 12" and 24" models require a 1/2" chuck drill (24V recommended).
